Welcome to the home of the Flitton annual Potato Race. An occasion when fitness can be fun, enjoyable and you can raise money for charity.  The course runs through the villages of Flitton and Greenfield and is great fun for all the family, whether participating or providing vocal support!

Sunday 19th June 2016

Celebrate Father's Day 2016 at the Potato Race!

Back by popular demand this is the only race of its kind in the country. Take the opportunity to run, walk or stagger a mile from Greenfield to The White Hart, pay for the privilege and raise money for charity, all at the same time!

Choose your weight - 20, 10, 5 or 2kg for individuals, depending on age. For children and toddlers there are spud and spoon races, Tatties In A Bucket and Design A Potato Head competitions! This year there was a Father's Day Challenge - A Test Of Strength!

Prizes and trophies, plus medals for all! Timings are approx midday to 13:00, in time for lunch & prizes.

All profits to go to charities and local projects. We have a tradition of supporting a national charity as well as a local one closer to home.

If you would prefer to donate and not run, please do so as every pound counts. However, there is nothing to stop you running on behalf of your own chosen charity.

In 2015 we have donated over £2000 to East Anglian Air Ambulance (including match funding from Barclays Bank) and £1000 to ABF The Soliders' Charity. Thank you very much to everyone involved!
